Off the coast of Valparaiso stands the Juan Fernandez Islands, the largest of which is Robinson Crusoe Island. The island has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve and is a place where visitors can discover unique flora and fauna both on the land and in the sea. The island can be reached by a two hour flight and is best visited between November and April.
