Southern Patagonia

Cruceros Australis offers three- and four-night cruise trips in the stunning southernmost fjords of Chile and Argentina, inaccessible by road or plane. The line operates two vessels: the 100 berth Stella Australis and the 64 berth Via Australis. The cruises operate throughout the Patagonian summer, from September to April. Both vessels are well equipped with spacious, outside-facing cabins, excellent food and lots of shared areas and deck space. The vessel’s zodiac motorboats take guests up-close to glaciers and the Magellan penguin colonies, while its knowledgeable crew provide passengers with information about wildlife, history and geography.

Both the Via Australis and the Stella Australis are extremely well equipped vessels that are perfect for experiencing the trip of a lifetime, be it on a three-day cruise from Ushuaia (Argentina) to Punta Arenas (Chile) or a four-day cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia.  Highlights include sailing through the Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan while stopping off at Cape Horn, the southernmost point of South America.
