Santiago

We understand that international travelers may wish to give something back to the local communities they visit, we offer philanthropic activities that can be incorporated into any trip. One of these activities involves visiting a prestigious national foundation that aims to contribute to the eradication of extreme poverty and promote social inclusion in Chile through value-added production and fair trade.

Un Techo para Chile (A Roof for Chile) was founded by a group of university students who wanted to support and encourage the generation of funds destined for the country’s most vulnerable families to allow them to break the cycle of poverty through their own efforts and help them obtain a permanent housing solution. The organization has a small but important unit that provides people the tools to develop their skills and include them in a small-scale factory project.

We invite you to discover all the stages of this comprehensive social integration program and meet those involved in this win-win initiative.
This activity will not only allow you to give something back to the community, but will also let you participate in cultural exchange.
