The Port of Punta Arenas

Punta Arenas is the world’s southernmost city and the capital of Chile’s Patagonia. Visit the Strait of Magellan’s most prominent settlement and discover its European-style streets, which date back to its golden age, when the port was one of the most important in the southern hemisphere.
Located within walking distance from the Plaza de Armas, the Arturo Prat pier is the perfect point of departure for many interesting excursions such as kayaking through the Magellan Strait, trekking on Mount Fenton, a visit to a penguin colony, following the footsteps of pioneers at the Bulnes Fortress, and visiting several farms and traditional ranches where you will be able to experience real Patagonian life.
